Parish Nurses practice within a congregation. They go in Jesus' name as a visible means of expressing God's love within the church congregation and community.

Parish Nursing is recognized by the Virginia League of Nurses
and the American Nurses Association.

Woman's Missionary Union of Virginia, in conjunction with the College of Health Sciences, offers a course on Parish Nursing. Class time is consolidated into four weekends, spaced out during the year. Click below to print a brochure and/or application.
